September in the Mackinac Straits
September 16 - 17, 2006 visit to Mackinaw City and Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula
Sunday was quieter. In the morning I drove across the Bridge to St Ignace to photograph the new mock lighthouse on the breakwater.

I am a bit disapointed by the light. There are gift shops in both Mackinaw City and St. Ignace that have more attractive and impressive light towers.

The downtown St. Ignace main street was blocked off and trucks from the night before were displayed in the middle of the street.
