In retrospect, I should have booked just a guided nature walk at Selvatura Park. The tree top walk was beautiful and pleasant, but I didn't know what plants I was seeing. And plants was all we saw - no mammals or reptiles, and few birds or insects. I walked at about the same pace as a couple from Baltimore for about half of the route, thinking more eyes might help, but still had no luck. A zip line tour overlapped about a third of the route, and the constant noise from that probably made the chances of seeing wildlife worse.

Porcupines like the seeds that are found in these pods. The outsides have short painful stickers.
